About RRR Club
Hello! Welcome to RRR Club! "RRR" stands for "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". This club is for students and anyone who cares about environmental protection.
RRR Club was established by Aaron Chao, a senior at Green Level High School. Aaron hopes we can use it as a platform to promote environmental awareness to the local residents.
Want to make our environment a green, tidy environment? The average American produces about 4.4 pounds of trash per day.
Learn how you can make small changes that are eco-friendly and will have a lasting effect. We can achieve this with reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Reduce: the most important way for reducing waste is not creating waste in the first place.
Please don't buy stuff unless you really need it.
Please avoid buying single-use items.
Please take a shorter shower.
Please compost yard/kitchen waste.
Please stop buying plastic bottles, food utensils.
Reuse: Use materials more than once in their original form instead of throwing them away after each use. The good reuse materials are old clothes, bedding, tools, books, gray water, old furniture, glass jars, plastic bottles, plastic bags, paper, magazines, and newspapers.
Recycle: Converting waste materials into new products, changing them from their original form by physical and chemical processes. The good recycled materials are paper, magazines, mails, glass, plastics, cardboard, food waste, steel, and aluminum. Welcome to join our club. Each one of us can make a difference. Together we make a change!
